The Tibetan altar is hand carved by Tibetans living in Nepal. The tabletop altar is designed to hold statues and other revered pieces. Each of the framed openings measures 7” x 4”. Intricately decorated with traditional Tibetan motifs such as the snow lions, dragons, lotus, and dorje. This smaller version is a cousin of the larger full size version typically found in Tibetan homes and is commonly used as a traveling altar by pilgrims.
